2025 Municipal Election

The 2025 General Municipal Election for the Town of Independence has been Cancelled.

There were 2 candidates for 2 open seats on the Council, therefore the Town Council elected to cancelled the Municipal Election.

Jim Tolbert and Will Duke were sworn in as new Council Members as a result of this process.
